Function

The Troubleshooter Distribution Center is responsible for the daily management of operating issues related to the Warehouse Management System (WMS), 1st Level Support for Operational issues and for the analysis of request from the field.

He/She is accountable for the troubleshooting, resolution and enhancement of the WMS setting.

Main accountabilities areas:

  • Ensures the post implementation support (1st level) for operational issues.
  • Analyzes requests from the field for validity.
  • Troubleshoots, resolves and enhances the WMS settings and basic configurations.
  • Records and implements changes in the system settings in line with business operational process.
  • Provides answers to operators by identifying problems; researching answers related to the WMS in place in the Distribution Center.
  • Guides operators through corrective steps.
  • Escalates to next level of support via Ticket System.
  • Improves client references by writing and maintaining documentation.
  • Supports the business for new release testing against requirements.
  • Participates in development of operator training programs by identifying learning issues, recommending instructions changes, documenting operating procedures etc.
  • Improves system capability by identifying problems, recommending changes.

Profile

  • Bachelor in Logistics, Supply Chain, IT or equivalent by experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills required to overcome unforeseen challenges quickly and effectively
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics or Distribution operations and systems
  • Basic Knowledge of SQL (query)
  • Knowledge in ITIL main process is a plus
  • Agile (SCRUM) Knowledge is a plus
  • Work effectively as team member and individually
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and French (written & oral)
