In today's digital business era, we are challenged to exceed customer expectations faster and better than our competition. This will require the evolution of the company's existing business processes and the modernization of its ERP transactional systems. This evolution is a key enabler in supporting the growth and success of Brunswick.

We launched the Enterprise Resource Planning Program to help modernize our business processes and support ERP transactional systems across all of our businesses. This will require the migration from current legacy systems to a modern Microsoft Dynamics ERP environment. The transformation of our processes and systems for the international marine business, will span a minimum of three years, and include multiple regions and countries.

To support the execution of the ERP migration and the implementation of a Center of Excellence (CoE) within our international businesses, we are looking for our Brunswick Center of Excellence leader

Function

The Center of Excellence Director is responsible for plannning, coordinating and supervising all activities related to design, development and implementation of the organization’s Dynamics applications.

Main accountabilities:

  • Across the 2 organization’s divisions (Mercury and Boat Group) in multiple regions and Countries (main locations are in EMEA? Asia-Pacific and Latin-America):

    • Manages multiple development teams supporting different lines of businesses or divisions. The role works closely with clients in order to map and support their operational needs.
    • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
    • Oversees multiple system development projects in a multi-platform environment, utilizing both in-house resources and consultants.
    • Monitors or facilitates status communication and reporting for all initiatives. Partners with PM or designated Leads. Drives awareness of status, opportunities, risks and issues of project with all parties, including Senior leadership.
    • Leads a team that provides day-to-day support and on-going maintenance for the MS Dynamics install base.
    • Leveraging product knowledge and experience, directs a wide range of resources as needed to identify or resolve complex multi system issues.
    • Directs cross functional team members on overall handling of escalated issues, including triage of complex functional issues across a range of applications or systems.
    • Manages the mentorship and training of team members in maintenance and operational support activities.
    • Accountable for vendor estimation, work scheduling, and delivery. In partnership with Procurement, take point on end to end vender engagement lifecycle, including RFI/RFP evaluations, contract development and review, termination of services.
    • Maintain and execute a roadmap for team development, including individual development, succession planning, and alignment of team structure to meet the requirements for the team.
    • Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing annual budgets; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective action.
    • Operates in line with company policies and procedures, especially relating to quality management system, the company ethics program and the company’s health, safety and environmental policies.
    • Champions the Brunswick ethics and HS&E programs ensuring that all employees clearly understand and adhere to the ethics code & HSE procedures, refreshing as necessary and driving the ethical behaviour required daily.

Profile

You are a bright, creative, and talented individual who enjoys working with some of the world's greatest brands, in an environment that blends cultural, multi-lingual, and ethnic backgrounds, with:

  • A Master degree in Computer Sciences, mathematics, Engineering or equivalent by experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience in leading MS Dynamics environments
  • Experience of leading a team to achieve a successful outcome
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics, ITIL, Agile, Service Now
  • Broad knowledge base in multiple applications or businesses
  • Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into solution designs
  • Demonstrates principles of quality customer service, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and flexible enough to work with different technical skill levels and skill sets.
  • Strong business background coupled with excellent written and oral skills for communication at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to gain the confidence of key personnel through value-added work product.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent English, spoken and written is essential. Knowledge of Dutch, German or French is an asset.
  • Ability to travel for longer periods of time to other Brunswick divisions/ locations
