As HRIS and Compensation Manager, you are responsible for managing and administering EMEA employees' compensations and benefits plans, to ensure competitiveness within the different local markets in EMEA and improve employees’ engagement and satisfaction. You are also responsible for maintaining HRIS and performing HR data gathering, analysis and reporting of HR metrics and KPIs, which are critical to support the HR generalists in understanding the metrics for the business and how these can be used to provide more proactive HR support.


  • You ensure that EMEA compensation and benefit plans are managed efficiently and effectively, in line with Corporate strategies
    • You audit compensation and benefits plans for compliance with local legislations within EMEA and direct corrective actions where appropriate.
    • You recommend improvements thanks to maintained up-to-date knowledge and analysis of regulations, trends and prevailing practices among competitor organizations, to ensure competitiveness within the different local markets in EMEA, in alignment with Corporate strategy and policies.
    • You manage the process of providing information to employees; provides policy interpretation on compensation and benefits questions and issues, and you act as the expert consultant to the HR team in support of compensation and benefit incentives.
  • You have the overall responsibility for ensuring that HRIS (Workday) is kept constantly up-to-date with reliable information, ensuring data integrity thanks to the implementation of adequate processes and audits. You provide user support and training to all HR system users.
  • You have the overall responsibility for designing and providing timely and accurate HR customised reports, metrics and KPI’s to support the business requirements. You deploy and manage a comprehensive methodology to collect, analyse and present HR data, including dashboard and scorecard development, using data interrogation and extraction methodology from HR system. You develop, own and optimize existing HR reports and drive for increased data accuracy while promoting continuous improvement.
  • Working in close relationship with the International Comp & Ben Director, you administer the relocation assignments to and from assigned areas, that the individuals are fully supported within the remits of the Company’s relocation policy. You coordinate taxes and compensation reconciliation for employees with special tax regimes with external taxes consultants.
  • You supervise and support the development of Short term and Long-term Bonus and Incentive Programs in order to reinforce the pay for performance culture within the company and to adapt C&B programs to the company’s business needs.
  • You coordinate the annual compensation and benefits processes for the regional divisions in EMEA, specifically the bonus and merit reviews, ensuring to provide timely accurate accruals to Finance, to produce consolidated merit and bonus spends against budget/accruals, and to ensure proper training and communication on the processes as required.
  • You have the overall responsibility to manage the company car program in EMEA and ensure day-to-day management of the company car fleet in Belgium & Luxemburg. (order of new vehicles and fuel cards, coordination with the leasing company in case of issue, renewal of existing contracts, control of leased cars and fuel invoices)
  • You administer the EMEA Employee purchase and boat rental programs
  • In absence of the EMEA Payroll Manager, you act as back up to :
    • support the EMEA yearly budget and forecast process.
    • ensure accurate and timely payroll runs and salary payments for salaried employees, EMEA financial reconciliation.
    • ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, to monitor compliance efforts, to review test findings within Internal/External Auditors, to facilitate the remediation of control gaps and escalate possible critical issues to the senior management.
  • You support projects that require specific personnel details from HR System, and carries out other HR projects as reasonably required
  • You operate in line with company policies and procedures, especially relating to quality management system, the company ethics program and the company’s health, safety and environmental policies.


The ideal candidate has at least 5 years’ experience in multi-countries Comp & Ben administration, preferably in a large organization, and hands on experience with HRIS. S/he has an excellent understanding of multi-countries compensations, benefits, payroll and taxes practices.

S/he has a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel with expertise with Excel’s data analysis, data mining and business modelling tools, and comprehensive knowledge of systems.

Having a proactive attitude, candidate will be expected to have a customer-oriented attitude, the ability to work in a multinational environment, excellent sense of organization and communication and the ability to multitask and prioritize work, along with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Candidate is expected to demonstrate the ability to successfully drive initiatives and change as part of a team and cross-functionally. Candidate should demonstrate a high sense for ethics and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

The ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures is an advantage.

Fluency in English is essential for this role, proficiency in other languages is preferred, such as Dutch or French.
