In today's digital business era, we are challenged to exceed customer expectations faster and better than our competition. This requires the evolution of the company's existing business processes and the modernization of its ERP transactional systems, with the migration from current legacy IT systems to a modern Microsoft Dynamics ERP environment. an ERP Team, located at Petit-rechain, is leading this global transformation. We are currently looking for an HR Officer who will provide HR generalist support to this ERP team.

Function

As HR Officer, you provide an HR generalist support to the Center of Excellence and broader Program Aurora ERP team. The team includes around 20 employees and 20 contractors, including a significant number of employees who relocated to Belgium. You also support specific HR projects across EMEA together with the HR team.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

  • You manage talent acquisition to ensure key roles are filled on time and through a robust recruitment and selection process;
  • You coordinate relocation files with the external relocation partner for employees recruited outside Belgium;
  • You ensure a proper onboarding and induction process for new employees/consultants in the team, taking into consideration the specific needs of relocated employees;
  • You provide practical day-to-day support to these relocated employees;
  • You support the execution of the company HR strategy across your assigned area;
  • You explain company policies and benefits and facilitate all HR processes;
  • You build and maintain close relationships with key stakeholders to provide pro-active, credible HR support and solutions for your assigned population, including workforce planning and proactive succession plans, talent management and development, performance management and employee engagement;
  • You handle all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests appropriately for your assigned population;
  • You ensure full compliance with local employment legislation, ensuring policies, working rules, procedures and other documentation are up to date, communicated, monitored and enforced;
  • You organize and facilitate in-house or external team meetings and events for the ERP team;
  • You support business travel arrangements for the ERP team, including travel booking according to the company travel policy and at minimal cost, and submission of related expenses reports for the assigned employees. You support visa requests when required;
  • You support the broader EMEA HR team for specific HR projects;
  • You champion the Brunswick ethics and HS&E programs ensuring that all employees clearly understand and adhere to the ethics code & HSE procedures, refreshing as necessary and driving the ethical behavior required on a daily basis.

Profile

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, and has a previous experience as HR Officer or similar role. with exposure to Belgian labour law and employment regulations.
The candidate has strong recruitment skills and an experience in recruiting IT or technical profiles
Fluency in English and French is essential for this role.
The ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures is a key requirement, as well as an ability to get along with diverse personalities, while remaining tactful, professional and flexible.
A knowledge of the company geographic area (Province of Liège) is an asset to provide efficient support to relocated employees.
The candidate must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related business and communication tools. A working experience with an HRIS system is an asset.
Having a proactive attitude, candidate will be expected to have the ability to work in a multinational environment, an excellent sense of organization and communication, the ability to multitask and prioritize work and be problem solving minded.
Candidate should demonstrate a high sense for ethics and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
