Function

The Digital Content Marketing Specialist is in charge for creating engaging and SEO optimized content and is managing tools and resources needed to bring traffic to Mercury Marine digital platforms (i.e. website, blogs, B2C & B2B email marketing and social media) and ultimately drives conversion rates by continuously improving the content strategy.

Accountabilities:

  • In collaboration with Marketing team, defines the digital content marketing strategy and ensures the translation of it into actions and content plan.
  • Produces strong, high quality and engaging content by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Writes, edits and refines digital copy.
  • Creates the SEO content strategy & writes compelling SEO optimized texts.
  • Pulls and analyzes metrics from digital platforms and reviews on recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Creates automated email campaigns and journeys based on user segmentation and online behavior to grow the funnel and increase conversions, ensuring design and layouts of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly. This includes data configuration, audience creation, and utilization of capabilities of the platform.
  • Develops responsive email templates for personalization within the same platform.
  • Leverages on lead and consumer behavior/preferences and demographic data to deliver relevant marketing actions through multiple communication channels with a vision of growing consumer loyalty.
  • Is an active part of creating the content strategy for social media across countries and owns the social media calendar. (S)/He will develop visual content and storytelling concepts using video, photos, animation, infographics and other tools, working cross-functionally with country marketing team.
  • Manages the online presence of Mercury brands in relevant social media channels based on the organization strategy.
  • Proofreads and schedules digital content & provide project management support on assigned digital marketing projects as necessary.
  • Monitors the competition through social listening and other methods and be aware of market changes and developments.

Profile

You are a bright, creative, and talented individual who enjoys working with some of the world's greatest brands, in an environment that blends cultural, multi-lingual with:

  • Degree with business, (digital) marketing orientation or equivalent by experience
  • At least 3 years of experience with online marketing
  • Advanced level in English, other European language(s) would be an asset
  • Positive attitude

  • Excellent understanding of Web Analytics / AB testing
  • Hands-on experience with video, animation, infographics, images

  • Experience in online lead generation and conversion optimization
  • Familiar with consumer journeys and applied knowledge in Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ Journey builder/ or similar program
