Function

The Production Engineer will be accountable for the Management and definition of manufacturing processes.

1. Management of the production process and assist in all areas involved in the production process:

• Definition and improvements of the manufacturing procedures;
  Resolution of problems in the manufacturing process;
• Definition of manufacturing tools (hand tools, etc.)
• Maintenance support;
• Management budget for tools and equipment.

2. Support production tasks and team:

• Participate in the daily meetings with the team to brief them and make the proper follow up of all topics concerning production, quality, delivery and safety;
• Supervising procedures and product compliance and solving any major issues and problems that may appear;
• Keep the daily production records updated;
• Control the material used in production;
• Ensure the proper communication flow with other departments.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have to have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar and 2-year experience in production and industry environment, in similar positions. Fluency in English is mandatory, and another foreigner language will be an asset. The candidate should also have advanced knowledge in MS Office tools, with demonstrated good excel skills and/or other data mining and reporting tools.The candidate should communicate effectively, being able to prioritize and organize the workload accordingly.
