Function

The role holder will coordinate the German, Swiss and Dutch initiatives around sales planning, pricing and budgeting that drive growth in the short and mid/long term. They will have a crucial role in promoting sales excellence through various means, including metrics management, analysis of sales results and growth plans.

  • Prepares and analyses sales forecasts and result reports and presentations, including analyses of variances versus budget/forecast, based on the information collected from the sales representatives.
  • Monitors sales performance by sales representative and support in defining sales targets that drive growth.
  • Monthly follow-up of O/B market share statistics for Germany, Swiss and the Netherlands
  • Supports in making and managing sales programs and promotions.
  • Prepares a variety of sales reports and develops data analysis frameworks if needed that will support daily/weekly/monthly operational reporting and executive dashboards (including SIOP preparation on monthly basis, financial closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals).
  • Provides support in analysing marketing promotion effectiveness.
  • Works closely with the sales team in preparing and evaluating deal scenarios and dealer development plans that will drive growth.
  • Follow up on dealers’ inventory and their retail and assist on Demand Input.
  • Monitors the campaigns spending per product line/channel.
  • Assists the Country manager in calculating pricing and margin analysis based on competitor analysis. Provides reporting and documentation of pricing structures and serves as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries for Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
  • Actively participates in the preparation of the annual Business and sales budget exercise and ensure the system is updated once the information is confirmed.
  • Partners closely with the country sales force, customer service and finance to deliver intuitive data visualizations, grounded in robust data analytics. These business intelligence tools will allow the Country Manager to keep a close “pulse on the business” and enable strategic decision-making.
  • Actively studies market intelligence to identify opportunities for growth and translate these ideas into proposed strategies for discussion and potential implementation with the Country manager and the sales team.
  • Support the Business SIOPs
  • Prepares Monthly compliance Files for checking by Country Managers.
  • Actively participates in specific ad hoc projects that drive disruptive growth in line with the EMEA strategic plan.
  • Can participate in projects that improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the sales force across EMEA
  • To operate in line with company policies and procedures, especially relating to quality management system, the company ethics program and the company’s health, safety and environmental policies

Profile

  • Min. 3 years’ experience in an organization which maximizes revenues from sales of organization’s products and/or services through a base of reseller partners like dealers, value-added resellers, distributors or retailers.
  • Demonstrable ability to understand customers’ needs and constantly strives to improve the customer experience
  • Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to write and present a persuasive, strong business case
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Previous experience in a commercial, customer facing role represents an advantage.
