You provides HR solutions and professional HR service to the assigned population in EMEA, principally for Mercury locations outside Belgium. You are also responsible for the delivery of key HR projects across EMEA; performing EMEA HR data gathering, analysis and reporting of HR metrics and KPIs, which are critical to understand the metrics for the business and how these can be used to provide more proactive HR support.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

  • Support the deployment and the execution of the HR strategy across the assigned areas, which are Mercury locations in France/Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, UAE-Dubai, South Africa, Russia, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with key stakeholders to provide pro-active, credible HR support and solutions for the assigned areas, including workforce planning and proactive succession plans, talent management and development, employee engagement.
  • Act as Business Partner to managers and employees in assigned areas for all HR topics.
  • Conduct the delivery of the annual Talent Review across the assigned areas.
  • Participate to the elaboration and execute the annual learning and development strategy for the assigned locations.
  • Actively support Brunswick Performance eco-system (ACHIEVE), including support and training to employees and people managers.
  • Lead talent acquisition across assigned areas to ensure key roles are filled on time and through a robust recruitment and selection process.
  • Ensure full compliance with local employment legislation, ensuring policies, working rules, procedures and other documentation are up to date, communicated, monitored and enforced.
  • Manage and administer employees' compensations and benefits plans in assigned areas, to ensure competitiveness within the different local markets in EMEA and to improve employees’ engagement and satisfaction. Ensure that compensation and benefit plans are managed efficiently and effectively, in line with corporate strategies and in compliance with local legislations within EMEA and direct corrective actions where appropriate. Recommend improvements to up-to-date knowledge and analysis of regulations, trends and prevailing practices among competitor organizations. Handle communication to employees, including interpretation on compensation and benefits questions and issues.
  • Overall EMEA responsibility for designing and providing timely and accurate HR customised reports, metrics and KPI’s to support the business requirements. Deploy and manage a comprehensive methodology to collect, analyse and present HR data, including dashboard and scorecard development, using data interrogation and extraction methodology from the HR Information System (Workday).
  • Develop, own and optimize existing HR reports and drives for increased data accuracy while promoting continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate the annual compensation and benefits processes, specifically the bonus and merit reviews, ensuring to provide timely accurate accruals to Finance, to produce consolidated merit and bonus spends against budget/accruals, to timely internally distribute Sales bonus data spreadsheet and accurately compile incoming data, and to ensure proper training and communication on the processes as required.
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring that HRIS (Workday) is kept constantly up-to-date with reliable information.
  • Provide user support and training to all HR system users.
  • Overall responsibility to manage the company car program in the assigned areas.
  • Take responsibility for the delivery of key projects in EMEA, working closely with the other HR Team members.
  • Act as back up as supports the EMEA yearly budget and forecast process in absence of the EMEA Payroll Manager.
  • Act as back up to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and provides support to define control objectives and monitors compliance efforts, to review test findings within Internal/External Auditors, to facilitate the remediation of control gaps and escalates possible critical issues to the senior management, in absence of the EMEA Payroll Manager.
  • Participate to the elaboration of the communication plans together with the Director HR EMEA and other HRBP and executes it in the assigned areas, to maximize the individual and collective contributions and commitment to continuously improve the performance of the business.
  • Manage and mentor team member(s) to provide a high-level support to the team, ensuring a measurable, high level of accuracy and delivery to agreed SLAs.
  • Champion the Brunswick ethics and HS&E programs ensuring that all employees clearly understand and adhere to the ethics code & HSE procedures, refreshing as necessary and driving the ethical behaviour required on a daily basis.

Profil

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Masters in HR or related field or business
  • Experience: 5+ years’ experience in multi-countries generalist role, preferably in a large organization. Hands on experience with HRIS
  • IT Skills : Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel with expertise with Excel’s data analysis. Familiarity with social media
  • Language: Spoken and written English is mandatory. Any additional European language is an asset
  • HR skills :
    • Good understanding of European employment laws
    • Excellent understanding of multi-countries compensations, benefits, payroll and taxes practices
    • Experience of writing and implementing HR policies and procedures and of Company Ethical working practices
  • Other Skills :
