The role holder installs, configures, tests and manages Terminals, PCs and their peripheral equipment. (S)/He assumes the first level support to user as being part of the Support Help Desk team. When necessary, the role holder will contact outside repair services. Also, (s)/he ensures the proper functioning of the daily operations.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

  • You answer phone calls, emails, incident from the internal customer and escalate it to the right level.
  • You monitor critical services and systems and take actions accordingly.
  • You follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved and/or IT service has been delivered.
  • You establish accounts for new users and assists with password or login problems.
  • You troubleshoot and resolves issues with software or hardware.
  • You walk colleagues or clients through steps to help them resolve their technical problems.
  • You maintain procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire organization.
  • You install the PC hardware and software, parametrizes the software according to the users according to the work orders and priority of the department (request via help desk)
  • You keep the help desk Lead informed of any work carried out on the equipment in order to keep the database containing the company's hardware and software up to date.

  • You understand the topology of local and international networks. Is ready to intervene immediately on PCs in case of problems
  • You analyze the problem, try to solve it, possibly call on the team and / or the hardware and software suppliers to fix the problems
  • You execute the daily operational tasks, such as the backup checks and other operations required in the IT procedures respecting the Sarbanes-Oxley rules. Takes care in particular of advice and support of all that is multimedia (projectors, sound, screens, videoconference, etc.).

The responsibilities above are not an exhaustive list of job requirements, and the role holder will be required to perform tasks that are commensurate with the role and may be deemed reasonable by the Company.


The Candidate

  • At least a secondary school level; bachelor in IT is preferred


  • At 1 year of practice in the PC and network world

IT Skills

  • Reading technical documentation
  • Knowledge of at least one processor, spreadsheet, database
  • Knowledge of WINDOWS
  • Knowledge of security rules and the application of necessary corrective measures
  • Knowledge of MS office suites
  • Knowledge of standard office tools on PC

Business and Soft Skills

  • Knowledge of English & French
  • Strong customer focus
  • Prioritize the workload
  • Incident solving
  • Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
  • Availability to work on evenings, nights or weekends in case of emergency
